Youth Baseball/Softball

The Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department offers an exciting baseball program for ages 4 to 18.

Our program provides an opportunity for youth to participate in a fun, organized and safe baseball environment. Emphasis is placed on the enjoyment of playing baseball while learning basic skills of the game.

The Youth Baseballl recreation season runs March through mid-May. Practices will be held at fields located in the area you select (Statesboro, Brooklet, Portal, Stilson, Nevils). However, game locations may be held at any field in Bulloch County.

With the exception of PeeWee Basketball (which meets on Mondays for 6 weeks), most leagues will meet two to three times per week.

T-Ball, Rookie, Minor, Midget Softball and Junior Baseball will meet on two/three of these days: Tues/Thurs/Fri/Sat.

Tiny Mite, Tiny Minor, Midget Softball and Junior Baseball will meet on two/three of these days: Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat.

The age control date is September 1 of the current year for all leagues.
Please note there are NO exceptions to the age control date. No child will be allowed to play out of his/her age category.

FEE: $45 for PeeWee Baseball (4 year olds and parent)
         $40 for Tball (ages 5-6)
         $60 for all other leagues
**Register February 7-11 from 2:30-5:30pm and get $10 off the above prices!
