The Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department offers an exciting basketball program for ages 4 to 18.

Our program provides an opportunity for youth to participate in a fun, organized and safe basketball environment. Emphasis is placed on the enjoyment of playing basketball while learning basic skills of the game.

The Youth Basketball season runs November through February. All practices and games are held at Bulloch County School gyms.

With the exception of PeeWee Basketball (which meets on Mondays for 6 weeks), most leagues will meet two to three times per week on Tuesdays/Thursdays and Saturdays. Minor Boys will meet Mondays/Thursdays and Saturdays. Midget Boys will meet Mondays/Wednesdays and Saturdays. Juniors and Seniors will only meet 1 day a week and Saturdays. The age control date is January 1 of the current year. Please note there are NO exceptions to the age control date. No child will be allowed to play out of his/her age category.

FEE: $45 for PeeWee Basketball (4 year olds and parent)
         $35 for Short Stuffs (ages 5-6)
         $50 for Tiny Mite Boys (ages 7-8); Tiny Minor Girls (ages 7-10)
         $50 for Minor Boys (ages 9-10); Midget Girls/Boys (ages 11-12)
         $50 for Jr. Boys/Girls (ages 13-14); Sr. Boys/Girls (ages 15-18)
