This program is held at the competition pool at Splash in the
Boro which is located at Mill Creek Regional Park.

Sharks:
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday - 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Monday & Wednesday - 6 - 7:30 am
Saturday - 8 to 10 a.m.

Enrollment:
Children must try out at Splash in the Boro prior to registering. Swimmers must complete 50 yards Freestyle (down the pool and back) as well as 25 yards Backstroke (one length of the pool). Swimmers must complete these exercises using rotary breathing and with their heads under water.
Once
your child has successfully passed try-outs and has paid all fees,
he/she may start the program. If your child wishes to tryout please come to the beginning of any of the scheduled practices. They will be evaluated and placed in appropriate level passed on these standards.
Registration
and Attendance:
Each swimmer must be registered through SBCPRD. When you enroll
your child at Splash you must pay fees for the month and days
your child is attending. Payments can then be made at Splash in
the Boro during practice times. Or, payments can be mailed to the
Administrative Office, PO Box 408, Statesboro, GA 30459 (Checks only!) Fees must be paid by the 1st day
of each month to receive a $10 discount.

Fee: $40
$10 Discount if Registered by 1st
of the Month!
(All swimmers are required to be a member of USA Swimming. There is an annual fee of $60 due at your initial registration.)
Lost
and Found Articles
SBCPRD
is not responsible for lost items. Each person is responsible
for their own possessions.
Discipline:
The SBCS participants are expected to follow and adhere to all
rules set forth by the staff. Positive reinforcement is the coaches
primary approach. If the problem of discipline arises, the coaches
will handle the situation promptly. Repeated misbehavior will
not be tolerated. Good conduct is expected of swimmers in the
pool area and at swim functions and events.
Inclement Weather:
We reserve the right to cancel the program due to inclement weather.
The SBCS swim team practice or events will not be held during
these times to ensure the safety of the participants. Please call our hotline at 489-2087 or check this Web site to get the most up to date information on cancellations.
Staffing/Swim
Methods:
It is the responsibility of the SBCPRD to employ coaches and handle
all disciplinary problems. If you have any questions, comments,
or concerns regarding the coaches or swimming methods used, please
call Kimberly Sharpe ,
Program Supervisor at 489-9051.
All
of our coaches are well trained and highly capable of running
the Swim Team. They are experienced swimmers and very knowledgeable
of swim team programs. We take pride in our capacity to hire such
seasoned coaches. It is imperative that we work together to
enhance the swim team program and ensure its' success.
