The Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department offers an instructional youth wrestling program for ages 5 to 15.

This program will be instructional in nature, with plans to develop a competitive program in the future. There may be competitive options for advanced wrestlers. The goal of this program is to promote health & physical fitness, good sportsmanship, learning of wrestling fundamentals, and to provide a fun and worthwhile leisure activity for participants.

The Youth Wrestling season runs December through February. The program will meet at the OLD Sallie Zetterower Elementary School building.

Youth Wrestling will meet on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The age control date is September 1 of the current year. Please note there are NO exceptions to the age control date. No child will be allowed to play out of his/her age category.
