SBCPRD offers several facilities for rent that are perfect for
parties, family reunions and corporate luncheons. Please click

The
Multi-Purpose Room is available for rent Monday through Friday
between 6:00 and 10:00 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday between
8:00 am and 10:00 pm. It is located in the rear of the Honey Bowen
Building at 1 Max Lockwood Drive, Statesboro. The Multi-Purpose
Room is a banquet type facility, which is suitable for adult functions,
such as wedding receptions, banquets, retirement dinners, etc.
Rental
Amenities:
• The Multi-Purpose Room is 32' x 50' and has a carpeted
floor.
• 13 lightweight round aluminum tables for seating up to
8 adults per table.
• 110 banquet style stackable chairs.*
• Adjacent kitchen, which includes a stove, oven, microwave,
refrigerator and ice machine.
• Adjacent men's and women's restrooms.
• P.A. system with wireless microphone (upon request).
* Extra tables, chairs, and other arrangements
are the responsibility of the renter.

THE
CIVIC ROOM
The
Civic Room is available for rental Monday through Sunday between
the hours of 8:00 am and 10:00 pm. The Civic Room is located
in the Honey Bowen Building at 1 Max Lockwood Drive, Statesboro,
Georgia.
Rental
Amenities:
• The Civic Room is 48' x 38' and has a tile floor.
• 17 lightweight aluminum tables for seating up to 6 adults
per table.
• 98 stackable chairs.
• Adjacent kitchen which includes a stove, oven, microwave,
and refrigerator.
• Men's and women's restrooms are located in the lobby.
• P.A. system with wireless microphone (upon request).
* Extra tables,
chairs, and other arrangements are the responsibility of the renter.

Parking:

to park. Parking in the plaza across the street could result in

BROOKLET
COMMUNITY BUILDING
The Brooklet
Community Building is located at George Roebuck Park on Cromley
Road.
Rental Charges:
The rental charge for this facility is $125 daily or $15 per hour. There is an additional $50 security deposit
required to rent this facility.
The rental party is responsible for picking up a key to this
facility the day prior or the rental date. (Key pick up
and reservations are handled at the main office in the Honey
Bowen Building at Fair Road Park.)

William James
Gym rents for $15 per hour.
Rental
Information:
William James Gym can be rented with up to two (2) days advanced
notice. (All rentals are on a first come basis.) Reservations
must be made at the Honey Bowen Building on Fair Road and are
confirmed when the deposit is paid. All rental arrangements are
to be made through the main office.

Memorial,
Jaycee, Brooklet #1,Brooklet #2, Zattie Douglas and Luetta Moore
Fields rent for $15 an hour with lights and $10 without lights.
Pee Wee Field
at Memorial Park (Fair Road) rents for $10 an hour.
Mill Creek
Regional Park, Stilson Park, Nevils Park, and Portal Park all
baseball/softball fields rent for $15 an hour with lights and
$10 an hour without lights.
Mill Creek
Soccer Fields rent for $12 an hour without lights and $17 an hour
with lights.
All reservations
are to be made through the main office in the Honey Bowen building
at Fair Road Park. Payment must be paid in advance.
TENT
RENTALS
The SBCPRD
has four (4) 16X16 tents available to the public for rent. The rental
fee is $150 per tent/per rental ($25 each additional day).The
fee payment is required with the reservation.

Room
Rental Procedures
Reservations/Security
Deposit:
Reservations are to be made in person and a Rental
Fee and $100 Security Deposit must
be paid at the time of making your reservation. Rentals are
made on a first come first served basis.
The security deposit must be paid separate from rental fee.
We cannot accept cash for a security deposit. The security deposit
is refundable. It will be returned to you as long as the room
is left clean and in order, and was used for only the hours
you specified. You risk forfeiting this deposit if those terms
are not met.
All
rental fees apply to community or family functions only. Any
for profit organization holding an event or an event charging
fees will result in an additional daily rate charge or 25% of
profits, whichever is greater. Out
of county residents must pay a 65% additional out of county
rental fee.
Advance
Reservations:
Reservations may be made two (2) years in advance. All rentals
are subject to first come first served basis.
Opening
and closing the facility:
No
keys will be issued for these facilities. A Statesboro-Bulloch
County Parks and Recreation Department staff member will meet
the renter at the facility to open and close the facility. It
is the renter’s responsibility to meet the staff person at the
appropriate time. The renter is responsible for all clean up
and deposits will not be returned if the facility is not cleaned
and/or if damage to the facility is identified.
Cancellation
/ Refund:
Any cancellations made prior to the rental date will result in
forfeit of the rental fee or deposit, whichever is less.
All
facilities rented are a smoke free and alcohol free!
