The
SBCPRD offers several facilities for rent that are perfect for
parties, family reunions and corporate luncheons. Please click

also offer Field, Pavilion

Room Capacity: 110
The
Multi-Purpose Room is available for rent Monday through Sunday
between 8:00am and 10:00 pm. It is located in the rear of the Honey Bowen
Building at 1 Max Lockwood Drive, Statesboro. The Multi-Purpose
Room is a banquet type facility, which is suitable for adult functions,
such as wedding receptions, banquets, retirement dinners, etc.

THE
CIVIC ROOM
The
Civic Room is available for rental Monday through Sunday between
the hours of 8:00 am and 10:00 pm. The Civic Room is located
in the Honey Bowen Building at 1 Max Lockwood Drive, Statesboro,
Georgia.

to park. Parking in the plaza across the street could result in
your vehicle being towed.

JONES-LOVE CULTURAL CENTER AT LUETTA MOORE PARK

| • 17 rectangular lightweight aluminum 72'' x 30'' tables for seating up to 6 adults per table. (Possibly 8 adults if 2 chairs were added to the ends of each table). |

| • Adjacent kitchen which includes a stove, oven, microwave, 1 hand washing sink, 2 dish washing sinks and a refrigerator. |

COMMUNITY BUILDING
The Brooklet
Community Building is located at George Roebuck Park on Cromley
Road.
It is 3200 sq. ft. room with tile floors and has 17 tables (72" x 30") along with 60 chairs.

STILSON COMMUNITY BUILDING
Rental Information:
The Stilson Community Building is 1,120 square feet. It best serves as a meeting room.

Portal Community Building is a 144 sq. ft. meeting room. It has six (6) lightweight aluminum tables (70" x 30") for seating up to six (6) adults. There are 20 folding chairs. No kitchen is available. Two (2) restrooms are in the facility.

William James
Gym rents for $15 per hour.
Rental
Information:
William James Gym can be rented with up to two (2) days advanced
notice. (All rentals are on a first come basis.) Reservations
must be made at the Honey Bowen Building on Fair Road and are
confirmed when the deposit is paid. All rental arrangements are
to be made through the main office.

TENT
RENTALS
The SBCPRD
has four (4) 16X16 tents available to the public for rent. The rental
fee is $150 per tent/per rental ($25 each additional day).The
fee payment is required with the reservation.

SBCPRD staff will set up and take down your tent(s).

Room
Rental Procedures
Reservations/Security
Deposit:
Reservations are to be made in person and a Rental
Fee and $100 Security Deposit must
be paid at the time of making your reservation. Rentals are
made on a first come first served basis.
The security deposit must be paid separate from rental fee.
We cannot accept cash for a security deposit. The security deposit
is refundable. It will be returned to you as long as the room
is left clean and in order, and was used for only the hours
you specified. You risk forfeiting this deposit if those terms
are not met.
All
rental fees apply to community or family functions only. Any
for profit organization holding an event or an event charging
fees will result in an additional daily rate charge or 25% of
profits, whichever is greater.
Advance
Reservations:
Reservations may be made two (2) years in advance. All rentals
are subject to first come first served basis.
Opening
and closing the facility:
No
keys will be issued for these facilities. A Statesboro-Bulloch
County Parks and Recreation Department staff member will meet
the renter at the facility to open and close the facility. It
is the renter’s responsibility to meet the staff person at the
appropriate time. The renter is responsible for all clean up
and deposits will not be returned if the facility is not cleaned
and/or if damage to the facility is identified. * Rental time must include setup and clean up time.
Cancellation
/ Refund:
Any cancellations made prior to the rental date will result in
forfeit of the rental fee or deposit, whichever is less.
All
facilities rented are a smoke free and alcohol free!
