to join the club for a yearly fee of $15.
Membership entitles you to all activities
though some activities require an additional fee.

SPECIAL EVENTS

BALLROOM DANCE PARTY

For beginners and experienced dancers
August 2, September 6 and October 4 from 7-10 p.m. at Honey Bowen Building
A "Get Acquainted" Ballroom Dance Party will be held at the Honey Bowen Building on from 7 to 10 p.m. as an event for the Statesboro Chapter #6108 of USA Dance, Inc. although the dance is open to all. This dance is for beginners and experienced dancers! Singles and couples are welcome..no partners are required! There will be mixers, a dance exhibition and line dances to recorded ballroom and latin dance music. From 7-8 p.m., there will be a dance lesson and general dancing will follow until 10 p.m. Cost is $10 for non-members of USA Dance; $7 to members and $5 for students. Multipurpose Room
This senior adult band makes beautiful music with kazoos, washboards, strum-bums and drums. Visiting nursing homes is our priority, as well as, entertaining local residents in parades and other special events. Band meets for rehearsals and trips to nursing homes.

Watercolors Workshop
This is a watercolor painting workshop instructed by Nicky Scarboro. Nicky is a resident of Bulloch County who has had her paintings in several shows AND has even had one painting hanging in The White House!

Computers for the Terrified
This class is for those who know VERY little or have no knowledge at all about computers. Students can learn the basic information about the computer, practice turning the computer on and off correctly and opening and closing programs. You will also get the chance to ask the instructor any specific questions that you have about the computer. Two-day course.

Expand your knowledge even further. Learn about file and disk management (learn how to organize your files so that they are easy to find), creating shortcuts, creating mailing labels, creating letters and fliers, basic computer maintenance, etc. Two-day course.

We walk to the music with Reba Barnes inside - so we walk rain or shine! Join our new low-impact walking class. It's a great way to get the heart rate up!
