Lunch with Friends Trips

Fried Green Tomatoes and History Trip
May 10

Tour the Jarrell Plantation State Historic Site where the first home was built in 1847. Lunch is at the Whistle Stop Café in Juliette, Ga, made famous from the movie “Fried Green Tomatoes.” We will then head to the Ocmulgee National Monument with archeological displays of the ancient Indians that built their ceremonial mounds here. Both locations do require some walking.

Time: 8am and return 6pm
Cost: $15, plus the cost of your meal
