Summer Camp 2008: May 27-August 1
Registration April 21-25!
General
Info
Each day is full of activities such as arts and crafts, nature
activities, games, fieldtrips, swimming, guest speakers and much
more! All activities are based on weekly themes that are developed
by the camp staff.
All camps meet Monday through Friday. Weekly sessions begin
in May and end in July. Back 2 School camp is a different style
camp and is offered the last week of July. T-shirts, bags or other items are included
in camp price and are given out on field trip days.
*An additional
fee is required for most field trips.
Camp Cherokee is for children that have completed pre-K - kindergarten.
Location: Sallie Zetterower Elementary School
Camp Apache is for children that have completed 1st - 2nd grades.
Location: Julia P Bryant Elementary School
Camp Tomahawk is for children that have completed 3rd - 5th grades.
Location: Mattie Lively Elementary School

* These are
extended hours for children already enrolled in regular summer
camp (8am - 2pm).
Payment
Policy
Pre-payment for ALL registered sessions is required (camp fee
only - extended care maybe paid weekly) in order to hold a spot for
your child. We accept Visa and Mastercard. For your convenience,
three checks may be written at the time of registration, two of
which may be post-dated.
Extended
Care Payment
Extended care payment is taken on a weekly basis. However a $5
discount (per week) will be given to payments taken by
May 19. If you choose to register weekly, you must register and
pay on the Wednesday prior to the week that care is needed.

Lunch
Information
BOE summer lunch program will be available for some of the weeks (approx.
4 - 7 weeks during the summer). Weeks when this is not available, children will need to bring a sack lunch.
R.I.F. (Reading is fundamental)
This summer, the Statesboro Regional Library brings books and fun to children participating in the Summer Day Camp Programs, and area children (children in grades Pre-K - 2nd) who want to drop in. Book distribution is held at camp locations during the summer. Children will be encouraged to participate in the library's vacation reading program. Dates: June 24 & July 22

young adults, ages 13 - 15, with the unique opportunity to gain
