Join us for the 2nd annual Fall Kickoff to celebrate the offical opening of fall sports at Mill Creek Regional Park. This free event will begin with a parade of athletes and opening ceremony on Field 2 including soccer, football, and cheerleading and continue with a variety of games and activites in the festival area by the large pavilion. The Pepsi Punt, Pass, and Kick contest will be held September 18 at Mill Creek Regional Park. The contest is for ages 8 to 15. Boys and girls compete separately. This is a free competition. Sign up at the event.

| Splash in the Boro Waterpark turns into Scare in the Boro as it opens up as a Haunted Waterpark on October 28-30. Take a haunted walk through the Lazy River...if you dare. $5 admission. For ages 13 and over only. |

| Mill Creek Park is the place for lots of candy and entertainment! Children can participate in a costume contest, trick or treat at numerous candy stops or even take a walk through a haunted Lazy River! (Don't worry parents...it's "kiddie haunted" from 7:30 until 8:30pm!) |

| Join the Humane Society and Statesboro-Bulloch Parks & Recreation Deparment at Memorial Park for a day to celebrate your pet! The day will consist of agility demonstration, horse rides, dog & cat contest and more! Donations for tickets are accepted. We want to invite everyone who has adopted pets to join us at the event. |

| Statesboro is proud to host the 2010 Georgia Special Olympics Fall Games October at Mill Creek Regional Park. Over 1,500 Special Olympic participants from around the state will head to Statesboro to participate in bocce, cycling, team softball, softball skills, long distance walking and running, golf, and golf skills competitions. All events are free and open. |

| Children ages 7 and under can receive a personalized phone call from Santa! Stop by the Honey Bowen Building on Fair Road or visit our website at www.bullochrec.com to complete a form by November 24. Also, children will receive applications at school. |

| This is a free program for ages 7 to 14. Meet includes track and field events. First 250 registered get a free event t-shirt! Age control date is December 31, 2010. Pre registration at the Honey Bowen Building or at the meet one hour prior to start time. Meet will take place at Statesboro High School track. |

This FREE event is the official opening of Baseball & Softball Season! Cheer your team on and join us for the Annual Swing into Spring at Mill Creek. Join Sea Island Bank and the Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department as we celebrate the 4th with a bang at Mill Creek Regional Park from 4 until 11 p.m.. We'll have all of the traditional activities, including interactive games, frog jump, greased pole climb, and Subway's Sub Eating Contest! Adults and kids alike will enjoy the musical talent we have lined up for this year! The evening will conclude with a spectacular Fireworks Show provided by Briggs and Stratton!
