Swing into Spring Season Opener

Swing into Spring is the official opening night of the baseball/softball season in Bulloch County. This event, thanks to our partners, provides a free and fun night for families. The night includes games, kids activities, music and a 10- minute firework show!

Local Track Meet
Saturday, April 4, 9 am start
The Local Track Meet is a one-day event where boys and girls, ages 7-14, can show off their track and field skills! This is a free event.
Pitch, Hit and Run Competition
Tuesday, April 21, 5 pm - 7:30 pm
The Pitch, Hit and Run Competition is a one-evening event where boys and girls, ages 7-14, can compete. This is a free event. No need to pre-register. Show up anytime between 5-7:30 pm to register, warmup and compete.
Splashy's Youth Triathlon
Sunday, April 26, 2 pm start
Do you have what it takes to compete in a swim, bike and run? This competition is for boys and girls, ages 7 to 15.

Kids! Bring your bait and fishing pole for a fun morning at Mill Creek Park Pond. SBCPRD and the Bulloch Bassmasters are bringing you a fishing rodeo!

Firecracker Fest Independence Day Celebration
Saturday, July 4, 5 pm - 11 pm

The celebration at Mill Creek Park like no others! Enjoy a day with friends and family as we celebrate our nation's birth with live music, inflatables, kids activities, demonstrations, and of course, a large fireworks show to top it off!

Fall Kickoff

The Fall Kickoff will be the official opening day of the football/cheerleading/soccer season in Bulloch County. This event, thanks to our partners, provides a free and fun day for families to over 2,000 people. This event is similar to our Swing into Spring baseball season opener, with the exception of a fireworks show. There will be kids’ games, community showcases, exhibition games, a parade of teams and more!

Trick or Treat at Mill Creek Park
Friday, October 30, 5 pm - 8 pm
The place to be for Halloween is at Mill Creek Park! There are lots of games, a large candy trail, inflatables, and much more!

GSU International Festival
Saturday, November 21, 10am-4pm
The International Festival will feature a Parade of Countries, a Global Village representing 14 countries, an International Bazaar, International Culinary Delights, and the World Stage featuring entertainment.

Santa's Calling
December 1-3, 4:30-7:30
Children ages 4 to 7 can receive a personalized phone call or letter from Santa between the hours of 4:30 and 7:30 pm! Stop by the Honey Bowen Building on Fair Road or visit www.bullochrec.com to complete a form. Children will also receive forms at Bulloch County Public Schools. Return the application so SBCPRD can be sure to get the phone number to Santa on time!
