Tennis Block Party February 11, 2012
This is a free program for all ages. We will have a variety of activities for all to enjoy as well as tennis matches and demonstrations. Event runs from 1pm - 4pm and will take place at the Mill Creek Tennis Complex. We will have concessions available as well.
Splashy's Fun Swim February 14-17, 2012
Swimming, Games, Kayaking and Prizes! 2:00-5:00pm and $2/ swimmer Splash in the Boro

Subway Local Track Meet March 17, 2012
This is a free program for ages 7 to 14. Meet includes track and field events. First 250 registered get a free event t-shirt! Age control date is December 31, 2011. Pre registration at the Honey Bowen Building or at the meet one hour prior to start time. Event starts at 9a.m. and will take place at Statesboro High School track.
Swing Into Spring March 23, 2012
This FREE event is the official opening of Baseball & Softball Season! Cheer your team on and join us for the Annual Swing into Spring at Mill Creek. The night includes prizes, music, interactive games, a parade of teams, first pitches and fireworks. 4-9 pm Mill Creek Regional Park

Pitch, Hit, and Run April 2012
Come show off your skills in pitching, hitting, and running at Mill Creek Park. Winners have a chance to move up to the sectional competition. FREE event for children ages 7 to 14 (ages as of July 17, 2011). Each participant may only participate once in the 3 days. Sign up at the event. For more information call (912) 764-5637 Splashy's Youth Triathlon April 29, 2012 Come out and show us what you've got at 2 p.m. in Splash in the Boro and Mill Creek Park. The cost is $35/athlete and ages 7 to 15. Register at the Honey Bowen Building.

BassMasters Fishing Rodeo May 5, 2012 Ages: 5-15 Kids…bring your bait and fishing pole for a fun morning at Mill Creek Pond. SBCPRD and the Bulloch Bassmasters are bringing you the 9th Annual Fishing Rodeo. Winners receive trophies and prizes! All participants are entered in a drawing for door prizes.

Firecracker Fest & July 4 Celebration July 4, 2012
Celebrate this patriotic time with a bang at Mill Creek Park. Join Sea Island Bank and SBCPRD for kids inflatable games, frog jumping contest, Subway Sub Eating Contest, live music, and a spectacular fireworks show provided by Briggs & Stratton! Fall Kickoff (Presented by Alltel) September 8, 2012
Join SBCPRD and Alltel at Mill Creek Park on September 8 as we kickoff the Fall season with a day catering to rec league football, cheerleading, and soccer players! There will be opening ceremonies, parade of teams, children's activities, inflatables and much more! Punt, Pass and Kick will also be held during this event.
Elks Soccer Shoot TBA The Elks Soccer Shoot contest will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Mill Creek Park. The contest is free and open to boys and girls ages 6-13 (as of August 1, 2011). Sign up at the event.

Trick or Treat at Mill Creek & Scare in the Boro (presented by Subway) October 26, 2012
Mill Creek Park is the place for lots of candy and entertainment! Children can participate in a costume contest sponsored by Gateway Animal Hospital, trick or treat at numerous candy stops or even take a walk through a haunted Lazy River!
Scare in the Boro (presented by Subway & Alltel Wireless) October 26, 27, 29 - 31, 2012
Splash in the Boro Waterpark turns into Scare in the Boro as it opens up as a Haunted Waterpark. Take a haunted walk through the Lazy River...if you dare. $3 admission. For ages 13 and over only.

Pet Fun Day TBA
Join the Humane Society and Statesboro-Bulloch Parks & Recreation Deparment at Memorial Park from 10am-3pm for a day to celebrate your pet! The day will consist of agility demonstration, horse rides, dog & cat contest and more! Donations for tickets are accepted. We want to invite everyone who has adopted pets to join us at the event.
GSU International Festival November 10, 2012
The 2012 International Festival will be held at Mill Creek Regional Park from 10am-4pm. It will feature a Parade of Countries, a Global Village representing 14 countries, an International Bazaar, International Culinary Delights, and the World Stage featuring entertainment.

Santa's Calling December 3-5, 2012
Children ages 7 and under can receive a personalized phone call from Santa between the hours of 4:30 and 7:30 pm. Return the application (available at the Honey Bowen Building, and online) prior to November 29 so SBCPRD can be sure to get the phone number to Santa on time!
