Camp Cherokee 2017
Registration begins April 11, 2017 at the Honey Bowen Building from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Parent Orientation will be held Wednesday, May 10th from 12:00pm-12:45 or 6:30pm-7:15pm
Registration must be done in person by parent or legal guardian at the Honey Bowen Building.
Camp Cherokee is for grades pre-K through 5th Grade. The grade level for each camp is the grade the child has COMPLETED as of May 2017!
Held at the Former Julia P. Bryant Elementary School
All camps meet Monday through Friday. Weekly sessions are offered beginning May 30th and ending July 28th. Camp will be CLOSED on Monday, May 29th for Memorial Day and July 3rd and 4th for Independence Day. Camp will fill up fast and there is limited space– so register early. There are additional fees for field trips.

Registration Fee: $15.00 per child
7:30am-6:00pm Option 1 $125.00/week
7:30pm-2:00pm Option 2 $90.00/week
*There is no Option 2 for Week 6 (July 5th-7th). The camp will run 7:30 am-6:00 pm for three days and the fee is $75.00.

- $25 deposit per week. This is a NONREFUNDABLE deposit! The balance (minus the deposit) for each week is due one week prior to date of camp.

- Prepayment for all camp weeks will be accepted.

REFUND / TRANSFER FEE: There is a $10.00 charge per refund or transfer made after initial registration. Please make every effort to finalize your summer care needs PRIOR to camp registration so that you can avoid these fees. The camp registration fee ($15) and deposit ($25) are NON-REFUNDABLE. Two weeks notice required for all other refund request – no exceptions. Please note refund checks take 2-3 weeks to be sent out. Fieldtrip refunds require 24 hour notice – unless tickets must be pre-purchased by our department – then no refund.
LATE PAYMENT FEE: There will be a $10 late payment fee if payment is not made by the deadline of one week before the beginning of each camp week. If payment is not made by the Wednesday prior to camp, the child will not be able to attend and you will forfeit your deposit. This is due to this camp being a first-come, first-serve basis and with children on the waiting list, we need to have ample time to fill the spot if your child is not able to attend.
LATE PICKUP FEE: There will be a $5 late fee every 15 minutes for each child picked up after 6:00pm.
